Your Post-Pandemic Meeting: What to Consider

Wednesday, July 8, 2020 12:30pm-1:30pm

Registration Now Open

The COVID-19 pandemic will affect your meetings in ways beyond date changes. Now is the time to determine how you will assess your post-pandemic meetings, conventions and trade shows.

With the situation changing hourly, none of us can make definitive plans. But you can start conversations with key stakeholders and create if-then scenarios that will position your association to respond quickly when we can once again safely meet face-to-face.

The speaker will pose a series of scenarios that will identify the questions you must ask and answer before you identify the solution, such as “Is your meeting objective still relevant?” “How will you convince your target audience to participate again?” “What if you can’t reschedule your meeting?”

Dana Saal
Dana L. Saal, CMP, CAE, has thought about meetings since 1986 and has planned a lot of them. Since she retired from planning in 2017, she’s been coaching associations to think creatively, differently, and boldly about their meetings and governance practices. She is an Illinois Society of Association Executives past president and continues to contribute to its mission.
